Abhyangam

Abhyanga is a massage that’s done with warm oil. The oil is applied on the entire body, from the scalp to the soles of your feet. It’s the most popular massage in Ayurveda, a traditional system of medicine from India. Ayurveda focuses on maintaining health through natural practices like massage and what you eat.

Marmma massage (Fitness body massage)

Marma points are specific anatomical locations in your body through which the energy of these elements is believed to flow Marma points therapy is the practice of stimulating these spots through gentle massage therapy.

Podikizhi or Elakizhi

Podikkizhi is a Swedana treatment using a fist-size Kizhi, or poultice, made with Podi, or medicated powder. Padi or churnam is a powdered mix of ten to fifteen herbs. It is heated in a pan, usually with a small amount of oil. The herbs and their proportions in Podi depend on the illness and its severity, A linen clothh is filled with this Podi to make a Kizhi. It is then dipped in herbal oil and applied to the disease-affected areas of the patient.

Sirodhara
(Head, Face, Shoulder Massage+Sirodhara)

Sirodara is an Ayurvedic healing technique that involves pouring a liquid onto the forehead .The word “sirodhara” comes from the Sanskrit words “shiro” (head) and “dhara” (flow). The liquid is usually oil, milk, buttermilk, or water.

Kativasthi

Kati” refers to the lower back region, while “Vasti” means holding or retaining, thus “Kati Vasti” specifically targets the lower back area by retaining warm medicated oil over it. Kati Vasti is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy that involves retaining warm medicated oil over the kwer back area.

Pizhichil

Pizhichil is a treatment which combines two therapies Snehana and Swedhana. Snehana meaning oil massage and Swedhana meaning to induce sweat. In Sanskrit, Pizhichil means squeeze. In this treatment a piece of cloth is dipped in warm medicated oil and is then squeezed and poured onto the patient followed by a rejuvenating massage. This treatment helps in circulation of blood and also removes all the toxins through sweat. More than three litres of relaxing, medicated oil is used in this therapy. Pizhichil protects the body from illnesses and builds up immunity for a healthy life. This treatment is considered to be very calming and rejuvenating.

Takradhara

Takradhara is a special Ayurvedic treatment that uses medicated buttermilk.Takra means buttermilk and dhara is a stream. The physiological benefits of Takradhara Avurvedic Treatment are very similar to that of shirodhara. However, the major difference being use of medicated buttermilk.

Panchakarma Therapy

Panchakarma is a treatment program for the body, mind, and consciousness that cleanses and rejuvenates. It is based on Ayurvedic principles, every human is a unique phenomenon manifested through the five basic elements of Ether, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth.

The combination of these elements are three doshas (tridosha): Vata, Pitta, and Kapha and their balance is unique to each individual. When this doshic balance is disturbed creates disorder resulting in disease.

Panchakarma is done individually for each person with their specific constitution and specific disorder in mind, thus it requires close observation and supervision. Treatment starts with pre-purification Measures of Snehan and Svedana, and then cleansing methods – Shodanas.
